Stories, thank yous, and the things you meant to say.

What an incredible weekend! My heart is full (well, overflowing really)

As I think over all the conversations I had this weekend, there is a common theme. The connections that can happen in one week of camp is truly a God thing

In 1979 I spent one week in TPT. I got very close to my counselor. She showed what it is to truly live out Jesus in front of others. I bawled my eyes out when I had to say goodbye to her

Through the years (47) we have kept in touch.

This weekend I got to see her for the first time in 47 years. There were no awkward moments. It was as if we had seen each other all the time. Even though it was only 24 hours, it was so special.

When we said goodbye we were outside of the Tab, and I was crying.....just like 47 years ago.

Reflecting back on how God used me during my summers at Haluwasa

It was a wonderful weekend of reconnecting with old friends and building new bonds. Looking back, I have so many fond memories of my summers in TeePee Town from ’85–’87. Yet, the emotion that caught me completely off guard this weekend was a profound sense of holy wonder. I am awestruck by the way God has woven our lives together and used us through Haluwasa to impact so many others for His kingdom.
